Mi Taco Restaurant Design Toronto

For our second Mi Taco Taqueria design, we collectively decided to make the Bloor Street location look as festive as possible. Contrary to what you might expect to see in a cozy space, the bold colours, layered textures and hundreds of details engage customers and visually transport them out of Toronto.

Commodore Bar Design Toronto

Our goal was to design a seafood restaurant that had a coastal feel without any maritime kitsch. Abstract boat hulls morphed into arches with fluid curves balanced by linear banquettes. Vintage porthole lights were arranged like tentacle suckers to punctuate the space while natural textures and naval white created an airy feel.

Bar Isabel Restaurant Design Toronto

Originally approached by Chef Grant van Gameren to create millwork for the bar, this became a full design and build project. Inspired by the work of Spanish architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Barcelona’s Bar Marsella, Bar Isabel was named the number one new restaurant in Canada by the prestigious En Route Magazine when completed in 2013.
